However, in order to maximize database performance, customers need do following simple configurations according to their respective scenarios: 1. By client side ip address. All queries coming from this client side ip address will be forwarded to the report node. a. dbtwin_cmd report_run ip_add "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" Add the client side ip address b. dbtwin_cmd report_run ip_del " xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx " Delete the client side ip address c. dbtwin_cmd report_run ip_list View the client side ip list 2. By client side application name. All queries coming from this application name will be forwarded to the report node. a. dbtwin_cmd report_run app_add "application name" Add the application name b. dbtwin_cmd report_run app_del " application name " Delete the application name c. dbtwin_cmd report_run app_list View the application name list 3. By client side login name. All queries coming from this login name will be forwarded to the report node. a. dbtwin_cmd report_run_login add "loginname" Add the login name b. dbtwin_cmd report_run_login del " loginname " Delete the login name c. dbtwin_cmd report_run_login list View the login name list 4. By read-only server side ip address(es). Clients can configure one or more read-only server ip addresses on DBTwin gateway. By read-only port on DBTwin gateway. Clients can configure one read-only port on DBTwin gateway before its startup. All queries comming to this port will be forwarded to the report node. 6. Specify specific stored procedures to report node. a. dbtwin_cmd sproc ltread "dbname" "schname" "spname" Forward the sp to the report node b. dbtwin_cmd sproc ltmain "dbname" "schname" "spname" Forward the sp to the primary node c. dbtwin_cmd sproc list "dbname" "schname" "spname" View one specified stored procedure d. dbtwin_cmd sproc list all page "pageno" View all buffered stored procedures by pageno. 7. Specify specific direct queries to report node. DBTwin gateway will assign one unique hash code for each read-only queries coming from client side applications. a. dbtwin_cmd qpattern ltread "qval" Forward the query to the report node b. dbtwin_cmd qpattern ltmain "qval" Forward the query to the primary node c. dbtwin_cmd qpattern list "qval" View one specified direct query by its hash code d. dbtwin_cmd qpattern list all page "pageno" View all buffered direct queries by pageno.
